Hanging doors

General A simple sliding door or side entrance. The door part slides along next the outside of the ship’s wall. The sliding door is fitted with at least two sets of wheels, so that is moves freely. The door is fitted with a cylinder lock so that it can be locked both from inside and outside.

Mounting The outer frame is fixed to the ship’s wall with bolts in tapped holes.

Glazing Both single and double glazing are possible in the door. The specification of this can be chosen to meet safety requirements and can be provided in many styles.

Interior finish As the door is mounted on the outside of the ship’s wall, no interior finishing is envisaged.

Surface finish The door is supplied as standard in a powder-coated form; however it can be supplied in particular cases in a polished and anodised form.

Option An adjustable strut can be supplied, with which the door can be held open in any desired position.
