Prestige escape hatches General The escape hatches are manufactured from sea-water-resistant polished and anodised aluminium. The hatches are fitted as standard with grey-tinted acrylic with a thickness of 10 mm. Special friction hinges ensure that the opening section can remain open in any position. A smooth finish to the frame and the hinges ensures a safe and easy passage through the hatch. There are no struts or knobs that could hinder passage.
Options
Use The special handle has several functions. The escape hatch can be completely closed, or can be left fixed ajar for ventilation. The handgrip can in both cases be locked from inside and the hatch cannot be opened from outside. Mounting The Prestige porthole is screwed to the deck from outside. In the closed position the screw heads are concealed under the opening part of the escape hatch. Application Our Prestige escape hatches are CE-certified by the Dutch Certification Institute (DCI). They comply with the requirements of the NEN-EN-ISO 12216 standard.
