Surface finish

The following surface treatments are available.

Polished and anodised Our profiles are first polished and then anodised after bending. By first polishing the profiles, scratches from our production process are removed, and a perfect outer layer is achieved after anodising, that provides protection for years against the influence of sun and water.

Powder coating It is possible to have our profiles powder-coated in any desired RAL colour. For this coloured powder is melted on to the aluminium at high temperature. By having the windows coated in the same colour as the superstructure or hull of the ship, they no longer form a noticeable accent on the ship. However if the windows are coated in a different colour they can provide the ship with an extra accent.
