Window types Fixed windows The most common type of window. At Rhigo this style almost always has a gutter to collect condensation on the inside. Sliding windows Often used on the port or starboard side of the wheelhouse. Opening windows Often used in the front of the wheelhouse. Windows with opening vents Have as advantage that the lower, fixed piece of glass protects against water splashes during rain showers. Lowering windows Often used at the back of the cabin. Combination windows There are also a number of possible combinations. For example the combination of fixed window and sliding window. But whatever sort of windows you wish to combine, at Rhigo you never have to take account of differences in mounting depth. All windows have the same profile depth and this is a great advantage particularly when you are finishing off the interior joinery. |
